In Memory of Paula Weinberg
 |
We are very sad to report that on June 9, 2008 our dear
friend and colleague, Paula Weinberg, lost her battle with
pulmonary fibrosis while waiting for a lung transplant.
Paula had a passion for art and believed strongly in the
positive power of art therapy. On a trial basis she started an
Art class initially attended by 4 NLG students in May of 2005.
By early 2008 the program had grown to 6 classes attended by 23
NLG students. Paula had a true gift for teaching our students
and sharing her love for art. Our students looked forward to
their time with Paula and she will be deeply missed. Paula's
legacy to NLG is that she has instilled her passion for art into
our program and for that we are deeply grateful. She will
always be in our hearts. |
